Pintos, Panties and Pampers

The children of Peace PresbyterianChurch in LakewoodRanch are having fun collecting checks, underwear, and diapers for their“Pintos, Panties and Pampers” Drive, now through April 8. This Lenten effort focuses on filling basic human needs of food and underwear for homeless families in ManateeCounty. The public is invited to contribute $24 to buy 50 lbs. of pinto beans or to bring new, packaged children’s underwear (sizes 2-14) and disposable diapers and wipes to Peace Church. The church is located at 10902 Technology Trail, at the corner of Lakewood Ranch Blvd., between state routes 70 and 64. All donations will benefit the Community Coalition on Homelessness in Bradenton.
