And on Saturday April 9th is the Passion Play at the Cattleman's Arena in Wachula at 7:30 pm. Please have your reservation check to Nancy Hughes by Sunday 3/27, payable to Nancy Hughes to sit together. Children (3-12) and Adults 62+ are $16, all others $18. The show has a cast of 200+ people from 40 churches and 150 animals, is approximately 3 hours with one 20 minute intermission and in an outdoor arena sitting on aluminun bleachers without backs. A variety of hot sandwiches, snacks and drinks are available for cash only. Dress casually. Carpool from Peace at 5:45pm to pull out at 6:00. Approximate travel time is one hour. From Peace take SR-64 E to US-17 at Zolfo Springs, go N for 1.4 miles to Stenstrom Rd, turn W and go to end.
Our next Sisters of Peace adventure will be an afternoon tea (lunch) on Saturday April 2, 2:00pm at Charisma Art & Café. Charisma is located in a charming 1920’s home at 1004 10th Av W Bradenton, FL 34205 in Village of the Arts. 748-8203. Cost will be $18 plus gratuity (individually paid) and includes, hot tea, selection of homemade scones with clotted cream, assorted finger sandwiches and a variety of bit sized desserts with coffee served on vintage china and tea pots. Free Parking, although limited, so we may want to carpool from Church.
