Faith and Film for Friday March 18th

The movie for Friday evening’s movie night is Il Postino, a story of love and enlightenment. Set in Italy in the early 1950’s it’s the story of a working man who meets a world class poet (Pablo Neruda) and discovers a world of metaphor and, along the way, woos the woman he loves.

It’s funny, poignant and exceptionally beautifully filmed with a surprise twist, not in the movie itself, but in the lives of the actors who played in it.

We gather at 7:00 at the church for food and fellowship. The movie will start at 7:30.
