Lively Learning for the Third Sunday in Advent

As we continue our journey toward Christmas, Bill Kemp will take up the hymn, O Little Town of Bethlehem and return, briefly, to the hymn for last week, Silent Night.

What’s the meaning of Jesus’ words “there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known” (Matthew 10:26) or the admonition to honesty and straightforward communication in Proverbs 25:9? The Wired Word will take up privacy, secrecy, and diplomacy starting with the WikiLeaks Document Dump. What’s the difference between privacy and secrecy? Should Julian Assang be arrested or given the Nobel Prize – or both?

Finally you are always welcome to join the youth in their ongoing discussion around Rob Bell’s Nooma videos and the fresh issues they bring up each week.

See you Sunday,

Bill
